The Connolly Foundation is Scotland's only registered charity working specifically with the Irish community, the country's oldest and largest ethnic minority. The Connolly Foundation is a community-based, non-profit research, education, and advocacy centre dedicated to fostering progressive social change. We seek to create a crucible for practicing ongoing progressive change, guided by the writings and ethos of James Connolly.

The Company is established for charitable objects and purposes only
('the objects').
In particular the Objects shall be:
4.1 to promote citizenship and support the civic engagement of the Irish community in Scottish affairs through the use of community development methods and approaches,
4.2 to relieve poverty, particularly that affecting the Irish community in Scotland,
4.3 to advance education amongst the Irish community in Scotland through carrying out research, and the delivery of education programmes,
4.4 to advance and protect the good physical, and mental health and wellbeing of the Irish community in Scotland.
4.5 to promote Irish culture and heritage in Scotland,
4.6 to promote religious and racial harmony in Scotland through education and advocating reconciliation and mediation between communities in conflict.
4.7 to promote equality and diversity both within and outwith the Irish community in Scotland.
